1. Who is responsible
Flexmark International Inc., Ave. Perez, Azuero #122, Chitre HE 0601-0195, Panama, operates Langsys and is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact us about privacy at [email protected].
When you use Langsys to translate your own product, the text you send us may contain data about your users. For that content we act on your instructions, as your service provider, and you remain responsible for it.
2. What we collect
- Account data: your name, email address, organization and project names, and the details of people you invite as staff or translators.
- Your content: the text, phrases and content blocks your apps and SDKs send us, the translations produced for them, and your translation memory.
- Billing data: your plan, balance, invoices and billing address, and the brand, last digits and expiry date of your card, received from our payment processor. We never store full card numbers.
- Usage and technical data: API usage, IP addresses, browser type and service logs, used for billing, security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
- Messages: what you send us through our contact form or by email.
3. How we use it
- To provide the Service you asked for, and to sign you in securely.
- To bill you, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
- To support you, and to send service and account emails.
- To keep the Service secure and to meet our legal obligations.
- To reuse your own previous translations across your projects, through your translation memory.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Service providers who process data for us
We use a small set of providers, each bound to process data only on our instructions and only for the purpose listed:
- Hosting providers: servers, databases and backups that run the Service.
- Cloudflare: website delivery and security filtering.
- Machine-translation and AI providers: translating the text you ask us to translate.
- Email delivery providers: sending sign-in, account and billing emails.
- Our payment processor: processing card payments.
Some of these providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. We rely on contractual safeguards for those transfers.
5. Retention and deletion
- We keep your content while your account is active, so your apps can keep serving translations.
- You can delete projects and content yourself in the app, or email [email protected] to ask us to. We complete deletion within 30 days and confirm by email. Copies in backups expire on their normal cycle.
- When you close your account we delete your content within 30 days. We keep billing records for as long as the law requires, which may be longer.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to a project is limited to the people you invite, access to production systems is restricted, and API keys can be limited to read-only access.
7. Cookies and local storage
This website sets only what it needs to work: a cookie that remembers your language, and your light or dark theme setting stored in your browser. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict some processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email [email protected] to exercise any of these rights; we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We post any update here with a new effective date, and email you before a material change takes effect.
